Barney Trucking SMS Terms and Conditions

Effective October 24, 2026

Barney Trucking, Inc. sends text messages to its drivers and repair staff through the programs below. They are not marketing messages. Texting is optional and is not a condition of your employment.

How you agree to texts

You agree to texts directly with Barney Trucking, separately for each program, by texting us first, by saying yes when the shop asks on a call, or by ticking the consent box when you turn on sign-in codes in BT App. Consent is never part of another agreement or of your employment paperwork. Each way, with its exact wording, is shown on our How to Opt In to Texts page.

Barney Shop text line

For Barney Trucking drivers and repair staff to report and follow truck repair tickets: ticket confirmations, photo requests and repair status updates.

Message frequency varies, usually 1–5 messages per ticket.

You can always report a breakdown by calling the shop instead.

Driver work texts

For Barney Trucking drivers to text us about their work, such as questions about loads and schedules or photos of load paperwork, and get replies.

Message frequency varies with your work, usually a few messages per load or request.

You can always call dispatch or your driver manager instead.

BT App sign-in codes

One-time codes to sign in to BT App, for drivers who enroll their mobile number. A code is sent only when you request one.

One message each time you request a code.

You can always get your sign-in code by email instead.

For all programs

  • All programs text from (435) 529-8436. Drivers can text it to report a truck problem, send photos or ask about their work.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply HELP for help, or STOP to stop receiving messages.
  • Replying STOP stops all messages from that number, including sign-in codes. Reply START to resume.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • We never sell, rent or share your mobile number, opt-in data or consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
  • For a breakdown or emergency, call the shop line, or 911 if anyone is hurt.
